PLUS CHART PROCESS -- an Object Oriented Process Methodology

While Kevin Patrick was a graduate student studying Systems Engineering at San Jose State University, he was taught modeling techniques, but not how to organize the data for the modeling software. After years of refining, Kevin has developed a methodlogy to address this oversight.

He has created an Object Oriented Process Methodology called the "Plus Chart Process." It organizes the functions of the work to be performed into a structured Object Oriented form. This form organizes the data base structure to reflect the basic core concepts of the data's relationship to the occuring process. It incorporates the definitions of the data transformations, while parsing the operational functions occuring into a logically ordered sequence. This representation takes the place of the traditional object, dynamic, and functional models.

This process methodlogy supports the manufacturing process verification requirements for American National Standards Institute's ISO-9001 data base records keeping for certification purposes.

KEVIN W. PATRICK

Since 1993, KEVIN W. PATRICK has been helping companies achieve ISO-9001 certification in the electronic industry. In 1984 Kevin gradutated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. For six years at Lockheed Missiles & Space Company he was responsible for the application of Systems Engineering to spacecraft data transmittions, storage and analysis. From 1991 to 1993 he studied Systems Engineering as a graduate student at San Jose State University.
