•I always see “Maximize Customer Satisfaction
and Share value.

•I always chuckle at this meat and potatoes
answer – since I know that that organization’s processes and support systems
are not positioned to meet the mission.

•Also, in my experience, there is too little
consideration of what the measures are for these statements. An if there are
measures, no clear plan for achieving them.
