The Use Case or Story as Context
zOriginally started as short description of the specific business situation. zThe use case as evolved into something so large and complex that its use is becoming questionable. zeXtreme Programming (later) chooses to call it a “story”. A much more concise and “growable” starting point.
Often, we tend to delve directly into the details of something rather than keep things at a reasonably high level to see the “landscape” of a situation.
